About Space Debris
Human made space debris represent a legacy of about 60 years of space industry around the world. Today that our life style and safety relies directly on satellite operation through telecommunication and surveillance for example, the amount of space junk is rising drastically to a point where it is now becoming a major global threat. The scientific community, as well as the media and the public is becoming aware of this issue.
